The Epoxy Sleeve Repair System is a permanent solution for repairing and strengthening damaged or leaking onshore and offshore pipelines. It can be applied to a wide range of pipeline configurations including:
Two half-shell sleeves installed around the damaged pipeline creating an annular gap
Sleeve halves bolted together using a calculated activation force
Epoxy injected into the annulus through pre-installed injection ports
Cured epoxy transfers load from the damaged pipe to the sleeve restoring full strength
Surface prepared using high-pressure waterjet blasting or other chosen methods.
Using divers or ROV, sleeve halves are positioned around the designated pipe segment.
Steel sleeve halves and segments bolted together and capped with end flanges.
Annulus grouted with low exothermic high-strength slow-curing epoxy resin via injection ports.
Completed sleeve consists of shell, end flanges, stud bolts, epoxy and cathodic protection.
